Earlier this evening, Alex Jones’ flagship website,, came under a concerted denial of service (DoS) attack. It is unavailable at the time of this report.

The attacks are coming out of Japan. A Whois database search reveals the origin to be the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre in Milton, Australia.

DoS attacks usually consist of concerted efforts to shut down a web server by flooding the computer with requests and consuming its resources so that it is no longer available to users. DoS attacks commonly constitute violations of the laws of individual nations. Over the last few days, Alex Jones and his websites have covered the so-called swine flu “pandemic” and have built a solid case that the outbreak is part of a larger campaign by the government to frighten the populace and institute martial law as specifically detailed in the Department of Defense’s “Implementation Plan for Pandemic Influenza” and other government documents. Alex Jones is the primary media source calling the government’s bluff on the bogus “pandemic” elevated earlier today to a level 5 under World Health Organization guidelines. WHO Director-General Margaret Chan declared the phase 5 alert after consulting with flu experts from around the world. “All countries should immediately now activate their pandemic preparedness plans,” Chan told reporters in Geneva. “It really is all of humanity that is under threat in a pandemic.”

Iran Sentences US Journalist to 8 Years for Espionage
The US has said it is “deeply disappointed” by Iran’s conviction of Roxana Saberi, a US journalist, on charges of spying. Saberi was sentenced to eight years in prison by a court in Tehran on Saturday, following a trial that was conducted behind closed doors. Saberi was sentenced despite diplomatic overtures to Iran by Barack Obama, the US president, and calls for her release from Hillary Clinton, the US secretary of state. “I am deeply disappointed by the reported sentencing of Roxana Saberi by the Iranian judiciary,” Clinton said in a statement following the verdict.

Germany Pulls the Plug on
On April 9th 2009, the internet domain registration for the investigative journalism site was suspended without notice by Germany’s registration authority DENIC. The action comes two weeks after the house of the German WikiLeaks domain sponsor, Theodor Reppe, was searched by German authorities. Police documentation shows that the March 24, 2009 raid was triggered by WikiLeaks’ publication of Australia’s proposed secret internet censorship list. The Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA) told Australian journalists that they did not request the intervention of the German government. The publication of the Australian list exposed the blacklisting of many harmless or political sites and changed the nature of the censorship debate in Australia. The Australian government’s mandatory internet censorship proposal is now not expected to pass the Australian senate. On March 25 the German cabinet finalized its own proposal to introduce a nation-wide internet censorship system. Australia and Germany are the only Western democracies publicly considering such a mandatory censorship scheme.

More Internet Industrial Espionage to Usher in Web 2.0? Vandals blamed for phone and Internet outage

Vandals are to blame for the massive phone and Internet outage in Silicon Valley on Thursday, an AT&T representative has confirmed.

A story published by the San Francisco Chronicle and carried on first reported that police confirmed the phone and Internet outage that has left thousands of customers in the San Jose, Calif., area without phone or broadband Internet service was caused by vandals who had cut fiber-optic cables.

Police told the newspaper that four AT&T fiber-optic cables were severed shortly before 1:30 a.m. PDT along Monterey Highway north of Blossom Hill Road in South San Jose. A cable in San Carlos, Calif., owned by Sprint Nextel was also cut about two hours later, Crystal Davis, a Sprint spokeswoman confirmed.

Davis said that a manhole cover had been lifted, and the fiber underground had been cut. She confirmed that the Sprint fiber that was cut also appeared to be the work of vandals. But she explained that fiber cuts happen all the time, typically due to an accident.

Pittsburgh Cop Killer’s “Inspiration” from Alex Jones Disproved: Three Jones-related Comments on Killer’s Website Criticize Jones for not Scapegoating Controlled Demolition of Global Economy on Jews
Max Blumenthal
has joined the slander campaign against Alex Jones in the wake of Richard Poplawski’s murder rampage in Pittsburgh. Max is the son of former Clinton aide Sidney Blumenthal. He is widely published on liberal websites and is a research fellow for Media Matters for America, the website spawned by the former neocon David Brock, who describes himself as a “hit man” for all things Democrat.take money from groups affiliated with the globalist George Soros, the hedge fund manager who is “dedicated to transforming our constitutional republic into a socialist hive,” according to the neocon Richard Poe (it will be a “socialist hive” at the behest of the bankers, and certainly not for fossilized communists and SDS throwbacks, although Poe does not say that). Blumenthal brings up the fact the mental case Poplawski had visited and posted on Alex Jones’ Infowars website. As we noted previously, Infowars has an open comment section and anybody can post, so long as they do not threaten violence or post pornography — and that includes Stormfront neanderthals who think Zionists and Jews control the world. Blumenthal and others neglect to mention that Poplawski’s posts (count ‘em, three short posts) were critical of Jones because he didn’t blame the Jews for the New World Order. It bears repeating: Poplawski was an Alex Jones critic, he was not a supporter.

Rabid Anti-First Amendment and Anti-Internet Pondscum Greaseball Filth Sen. Jay Rockefeller seeks to make Obama God Emperor of Internet in Event of “National Emergency”
Should President Obama have the power to shut down domestic Internet traffic during a state of emergency? Senators John Rockefeller (D-W. Va.) and Olympia Snowe (R-Maine) think so. On Wednesday they introduced a bill to establish the Office of the National Cybersecurity Advisor—an arm of the executive branch that would have vast power to monitor and control Internet traffic to protect against threats to critical cyber infrastructure. That broad power is rattling some civil libertarians.

Popular Thomas Paine Anti-Stimulus Video Blogger Summoned to White House

is reporting that Bob Basso, who has released videos urging Americans take their government back from corrupt politicians, was reportedly “summoned to the White House by President Obama to discuss the subject matter of the short films.” In the video below, Basso, who portrays Thomas Paine, author of the “Common Sense” pamphlet that made the case for independence during the American Revolution, has called for Americans to send tea bags to Congress. Basso strongly criticizes Congress for approving the “largest spending bill in history without reading it” and takes Americans to task because “you did nothing.” The video, “We The People Stimulus Package,” has over a million views. Basso is a former award winning news director for NBC TV and visiting professor at UCLA. He was scheduled to appear on the Jerry Doyle radio show but canceled after Obama had personally invited him to meet in the White House “to discuss the disturbing nature of the videos,” according to WND.

The death of free speech in Australia: hyperlink Wikileaks, pay $11,000 dollar a day fine
The Australian communications regulator has issued a stark warning that websites who link out to ‘banned’ hyperlinks are liable to fine of up to Aus $11,000 a day. The news comes after web forum Whirlpool was threatened with the fine for posting a hyperlink to a blacklisted anti-abortion website.
Wikileaks blacklisted

One of the newest additions to Australia’s ‘blacklisted hyperlinks’ list is Wikileaks; the website that publishes anonymous submissions of sensitive info on everything from corporations, religion and governments. The blacklisting of certain pages of the site has come about after Wikileaks posted a list of websites at the tail end of 2008 that comprised the ‘secret internet censorship’ list for Denmark. On this list were over 3,500 sites that were censored or banned in the country.
Disturbing picture

While Australia’s list of blacklisted sites currently stands at 1,370, the Sydney Morning Herald is reporting that that list could increase to around 10,000 sites – most of which are of illegal pornographic content, but could also includes sites that house incendiary political discussions.
