Iran Sentences US Journalist to 8 Years for Espionage
The US has said it is “deeply disappointed” by Iran’s conviction of Roxana Saberi, a US journalist, on charges of spying. Saberi was sentenced to eight years in prison by a court in Tehran on Saturday, following a trial that was conducted behind closed doors.
