Attack of the Patsies: Former DPS Police Officer Brandishes Gun over “Anger at Government” at KLBJ-AM in Austin

Police say a man concealing a weapon walked into the KLBJ radio station demanding to speak with Radio Talk-Show host Jeff Ward Tuesday afternoon. According to a spokesperson with the Austin Police Department, a man by the name of Rocky Perez Lopez asked to speak with Jeff Ward at approximately 2:45 p.m. Tuesday. When Ward was unavailable, police say the individual was lead into the conference room to speak with one of the producers. Police say Lopez then went on a tirade discussing his anger about the government. Lopez then said he was getting ready to “go postal,” according to police.
